Jelly Oooh? Jelly Eeew?

I found this wacky collection of Jelly Shoes online at River Island. Don't get me wrong, I love a good Jelly Shoe, in fact I have a pair of 80's inspired woven style jellies that have seen me through the last 3 summers but.... Maybe these are a Jelly mould too far?? Definitely a love or hate collection.

Trend Prediction For Autumn 2011

Stars were big a few seasons ago and it looks like they'll be back for Autumn/Winter 11 thanks to Dolce and Gabbana. Their new collection is full of star printed creations in a colour palette of monochromes, brights and metallics. Look out for this trend on the highstreet, I bet there will be star prints everywhere by September!

Snap, Crackle, (Colour) Pop

One of my favourite trends for Spring 11 is Colour Blocking, although personally I wont be going colour crazy myself. Instead I'll be embracing the trend with the odd pop of bold colour here and there. A great way to wear this tread if you're a bit colour shy like myself is to work a bold coloured accessory into your look. I love this bright yellow bag by Marc by Marc Jacobs it would look fab worn with a nude coloured outfit on a sunny day. Here are some more 'must have' Colour Popping pieces from highstreet and designer brands.

Julien Macdonald Loves Floris Scented Candles

I was lucky enough to go to the Julien Macdonald Autumn/Winter 11 show during LFW last month and aside from his stunning gothic inspired collection, the candle lover in me couldn't help but notice the amazing scented candles that lined the walls of the Church. The location itself complimented the gothic feel of the collection, a 19th Century Church building hidden in the centre of London. After a bit of investigating I found that the Candles were by Floris and were a mix of their Sandalwood & Patchouli and Cinnamon & Tangerine scents, the smell was gorgeous and really helped set the mood of the show. Here's what Julian had to say .....

“I have always been a fan of Floris fragrances and used the layered scents of Sandalwood & Patchouli with Cinnamon & Tangerine to perfume my Autumn Winter 2011 show venue. The scents helped create an evocative and rich atmosphere as befitting my new Autumn Winter 2011 collection.”

The Floris Scented Candles are £35 from Floris London

Mulberry's Spring/Summer 11 Campaign

Just stumbled across this dreamy video for Mulberry's Spring/Summer 11 Campaign. The stills were shot by Tim Walker and re-worked into a montage of beautiful moving scenes. I just love it!
