One of the biggest trends this Autumn is Monochrome and I'm a big fan, mainly because I have an unhealthy amount of Black in my wardrobe so all I need to do is add hints of white and voila.....I'm done! Pairing Black and white may sound boring but its a classic look that will never grow old and done right looks chic and timeless.
Mono was a popular look on the A/W 11 catwalks with designers including Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel and Burberry Prorsum all featuring black and white styles.

Make a statement by keeping your monochrome look simple yet striking, add a red lip for a real impact. I've picked some of my favourite Monochrome pieces out on the high street at the minute...

Cream Blazer £195 from REISS |
Masculine tailoring is another big trend this autumn. Mix a cream blazer with black Cigarette Pants and brogues for some masculine mono!

Oversized Pocket Dress £40 From A/Wear |
I love these sixties inspired pieces from A/Wear. The Oversized Pocket Dress would look really cute with some flat loafers or Mary Janes.

Contrast Trim Skirt £30 from A/Wear |
This cute little spotty dress from Full Circle is perfect for an evening Monochrome look, just add super high heels and a classic clutch.

Frill Collar Velvet Dress £230 from Jeager |
A classic white shirt never goes out of fashion, I love this one from French Connection's Classics Collection. Wear tucked into tapered trousers for a stylish day look or roll up the sleeves and wear with short shorts and heels for a night out.
Finish off your any Monochrome look with striking accessories like the gorgeous Topshop Loafers or a statement wide brim hat like this one from REISS.
